Our partners Frisia and Damen sign contract

On 14 December, our partners AG Reederei Norden-Frisia and Damen Shipyards Group signed the contract for the construction of the first HYPOBATT demonstration facility. Germany's first all-electric ferry service will operate between Norddeich and Norderney and can carry up to 150 passengers. The travel time to Norderney will only take 30 minutes. Once in Norddeich, the electric catamaran will be fully charged in just 28 minutes thanks to innovative multi-MW charging technology. The entire consortium congratulates and is looking forward to our further joint work.
